You can book my black & white 1:1 workshop if you want to! ;-) Most of the "magic" of black & white conversions IMHO lies in tweaking the channels in the mixer (if you're using Lightroom). Plenty of contrast is generally good IMHO, and then locally dodge & burn to de/emphasize certain areas.

You realize that you do have a fair amount of images that would work well in black & white, do you? This one in particular. :)

I'm sure that is true, but my processing skills for black and white are limited. I do play around with that quite often though. I should revisit an attempt at converting this one.
