Description
Barred Owl (Strix varia) fledglings snuggling together on a branch. Barred Owl babies can be fed by parents for months after leaving the nest while they learn to hunt for themselves. An adult was heard hooting nearby but did not visit the owlets while I was there. Photographed at Campbell Valley Park in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
