I knew this was boundary bay, this is so VERY beautiful Michael, I remember years ago when the snowy owl invasion was at boundary bay, do they come there every year? here the snowy owls are very territorial, we don't see them hanging out with other snowies, this is so beautiful
Thanks Heather! They do not "irrupt" every year, and 2012 was the best year recently to see them down there. I think a few have shown up in the past few winters but not like it was then. The photograph of one owl with its wings stretched out I think is my favourite of my snowy owl shots from that year.
